Shipping Packaging Removal

CAUTION: Ensure adequate manpower is available to help safely unload and install the system. Empty cabinets alone may weigh up to 300 lbs.

Moving cabinets can present dangers to both personnel and installed equipment.

CAUTION: Use eye protection and protective gloves while unpacking and installing the cabinet.

1. The cabinet will be shipped on a wood pallet. Select a location with adequate surrounding space for unpacking.

In addition, plan a smooth and unobstructed route to the installation site. Low obstructions, narrow pathways, doorsills, carpet, etc. can

hinder movement. Use care when navigating obstacles. Always push from the cabinet front or back surfaces, never pull a cabinet or push

from the cabinet sides.

2. Carefully cut and remove shipping materials holding cabinet to shipping pallet.

DID YOU KNOW? The Shipping stiffener is actually a standard 3RU panel and therefore may be repurposed to another location on the cabinet.

3. Carefully cut and remove the hardware bag containing door keys, rack rail hardware, top hardware and set aside for future use.

Leg Levelers

CAUTION: Before loading the cabinet with equipment, note that use of the leg levelers reduces the cabinet capacity. They are not recommended

for installations requiring full load capacity.

1. In most cases where cabinet is to be mounted to the floor, remove the Leg Levelers from the cabinet by turning them in a counter-clockwise

fashion.

2. In cases where multiple cabinets are to be ganged together, remove the Leg Levelers as they can interfere with the adjoining cabinet.

3. In cases where the caster kits are used to move the cabinet, remove the Leg Levelers as they can catch on the ground surface and cause

the cabinet to fall over.

NOTE: If the floor the cabinet will be placed on is not level, the front and/or rear door may not close properly.

Cabinet Orientation

1. The front of the cabinet is denoted by the rack crown and front door cut outs mounted with either solid, vented, or plexiglass panels behind them.

2. The bottom of the cabinet will contain mounting points for leg levelers and caster kit.
