4 USB Type-B port
(KVM P)
This port connects to a self-supplied USB cable that
links the Transmitter to the computer. This port
transmits only the peripheral signal.
5 RS-232 serial port
(PC / Server)
his RS-232 serial port is for connecting to the
computer for serial control.
6 audio ports
(PC / Server)
These mini stereo ports are for the speakers (green)
and microphone (pink).
7 power & status LEDs
Power: Lights green to indicate the unit is receiving
power and turned on.
Remote / Local: Lights green to indicate which side
of the installation (Local or Remote) currently has
KVM control of the computer.
Rear View
8 power switches These standard slide switches power the unit on and
off.
9 reset button Press and hold this button for 5 seconds to perform a
system reset. This switch is recessed and must be
pushed with a small object, such as the end of a paper
clip, or a ballpoint pen.
10 audio ports (console) These mini stereo ports are for the local speakers
(green) and microphone (pink).
11 RJ-45 port (for CCKM
only / reserved)
This port is reserved for future expansion.
12 grounding terminal The wire used to ground the unit connects here.
13 DC power jacks The cable from the DC power adapter connects here.
14 RS-232 serial port
(device)
This RS-232 serial port is for connecting to a serial
terminal.
15 USB Type-A ports
(console K/M)
The unit’s USB keyboard and USB mouse plug into
these ports.
16 RJ-45 port The cable that connects the unit to the LAN plugs in
here.
Note: The 10 Gb LAN port supports 1G / 2.5G / 5G /
10G NBASE-T technology.
17 SFP+ slots The 10 Gigabit Ethernet (10 GbE) optical fiber cable
that connects the unit to the LAN plugs in here.
Note: The SFP+ slot supports 10GBASE-R
technology only.
18 console ports The cables from the local DisplayPort monitors plug
into these ports.
