2 USB peripheral port Use this port for virtual media or a USB peripheral
device.
Note: 1. When using a USB disk plugged into this
port, see USB Mode, page 125.
2. This USB port supports isochronous
endpoints.
3 operation pushbuttons Use these pushbuttons to operate the OSD.

4 power switches These standard slide switches power the unit on and
off.
5 RS-232 serial port
(device)
This RS-232 serial port is for connecting to a serial
terminal.
6 audio ports (console) These mini stereo ports are for the local speakers
(green) and microphone (pink).
7 USB Type-A ports
(console K/M)
The unit’s USB keyboard and USB mouse plug into
these ports.
8 USB Type-B port
(computer / reserved)
This port is reserved for future expansion.
9 audio ports (computer
/ reserved)
These ports are reserved for future expansion.
10 reset button Press and hold this button for 5 seconds to perform a
system reset. This switch is recessed and must be
pushed with a small object, such as the end of a paper
clip, or a ballpoint pen.
11 DC power jacks The cable from the DC power adapter connects here.
12 SFP+ slots The 10 Gigabit Ethernet (10 GbE) optical fiber cable
that connects the unit to the LAN plugs in here.
Note: The SFP+ slot supports 10GBASE-R
technology only.
13 RJ-45 port The cable that connects the unit to the LAN plugs in
here.
Note: The 10 Gb LAN port supports 1G / 2.5G / 5G /
10G NBASE-T technology.
14 DisplayPort output
port (console)
The cables from the local DisplayPort monitors plug
into these ports.
