Rack Mounting
For convenience and flexibility, the CE980 / CE990 can be mounted on system
racks. To rack mount a unit, do the following:
1. Using the screws from the supplied mounting kit, secure the mounting
bracket to the top or bottom of the CE980 / CE990 as shown in the
diagram below.
2. Use self-prepared M5 Phillips recessed screws, secure the mounting
bracket to a preferred location on the rack. You can rack mount the CE980
/ CE990 with either the front or rear facing upwards.
Optional Rack Mounting
The CE980 / CE990 can be mounted on 1U system racks using an optional rack
mounting kit (VE-RMK1U). For detailed setup instruction, see VE-RMK1U
