2.3. Top Panel
Here's a general overview of the front panel of MicroLab mk3.
1. Shift button: This button lets you access the secondary functions of MicroLab
mk3, like Chord mode, Program Change and MIDI Channel selection.
2. Hold: Activates a sustain function, similar to a sustain pedal on a piano.
3. Octave – / Octave + buttons: Transpose MicroLab mk3 down and up several
octaves.
4. Pitch and Mod Touch Strips: These touch-sensitive strips generate pitch bend and
modulation MIDI messages.
5. Keyboard: MicroLab mk3 sports a 25-key velocity-sensitive, slim-key keyboard.
2.4. Rear Panel
The rear panel has the following connectivity.
1. Kensington Lock: Prevents your MicroLab mk3 from wandering away.
2. Control Pedal input: Connect a footswitch, sustain, or expression pedal here.
3. USB-C: The included USB cable provides power and MIDI connectivity.
