19.4.3 Connecting to a Hidden Wire-
less Network
You can connect to a network with a hidden
SSID.
1. Press the button on the home
screen.
2. select Settings and press the .
3. Select Network and Internet option, and

4. Select Add New Network and press the

ð SSID entry menu will be displayed.

to enter the SSID from
the screen keyboard, select the key
and press the .
ð Password type selection menu will be
displayed.
6. Select N/A, WEP, WPA/WPA2 Personal
or WPA3-Personal as password type
and press the .
ð Password Entry menu will be dis-
played.

from the screen keyboard, select the

ð Connection established successfully
message will be displayed and modem
connection shall be established.
8. Press to return to the previous menu
or press to return to Home menu.
19.4.4 Manual Connection By Enter-
ing the Network Password
Certain networks require Static IP address.
If your network requires a Static IP address,
you need to enter IP Address, Netmask,
Gateway and DNS values manually. You
can learn the IP Address, Netmask, Gate-
way and DNS values from your Internet Ser-
vice Provider (ISP).
1. From Home Screen menu, press .
2. select Settings and press the .
3. Select Network and Internet option, and
press .
4. Select the network you want to connect
and from the Available networks tab, se-
lect the network you want to connect to
with the

and press the .
ð Wireless connection password screen
will be displayed.

• If your network is not displayed among
available networks, select Show All and
confirm with the .

to enter the password
from the screen keyboard, select the
key and press the .
ð Connection established successfully
message will be displayed and modem
connection shall be established.
6. Select the network you are connected to
and press the .
7. Select IP Settings and press the .
8. Select Static and press the .
9. Enter IP Address and select the key
from the screen keyboard and press the
.
10.Enter Gateway and select the key
from the screen keyboard and press the
.
11.Enter Network prefix length and select
the key from the screen keyboard
and press the .
12.If applicable, enter the value of DNS1
and select the key from the screen
keyboard and press the .
13.If applicable, enter the value of DNS2
and select the key from the screen
keyboard and press the .
ð Successfully saved! message will be
displayed.
