Fan Channel:
The Fan Channel allows direct control over fan speed or behavior via DMX. Set a constant value to
maintain a specific fan state, and modify the value as needed to adjust fan performance.
In the System settings, the Fan mode must be set to “DMX Controlled”
● Example – Setting the fan to Max
In Profile 3, set the Fan Channel (Channel 6) to Value 45. The fan channel must be saved
at the value. When changing the value in a cue, it can be used to cut the fan during takes.
No Effect Ranges
In some DMX profiles, you may encounter a "No Effect" range at the beginning of a channel. This
range is typically meant for slider boards, ensuring that when the slider is at 0, no effect is applied.
These ranges should not be patched into lighting consoles, as they serve only to prevent unintended
changes when the control is idle.
