2. INTRODUCTION
2.1. Purpose
The FLX-DANTE device is a digital audio converter, providing a built-in Dante®
network interface, and an additional slot for one AUX card. It can be used in
different setups, depending on the user's needs:
standalone, to convert between the built-in Dante and an AUX card
(Dante-to-anything).
standalone with installed AUX-DANTE card as Dante-to-Dante bridge (network
isolator). In this setup, two different Dante networks can be kept physically
separate but it is possible to pass audio between them.
together with another flexiverter, connected via FlexLink (for up to 128x128
channels),
together with the multiverter, connected via FlexLink. This provides remote
control, channel-wise routing and SRC (Sample Rate Conversion). In this mode,
Dante-to-Dante bridging with sample rate conversion is also possible.
