5. Pull the starter handle until the engine starts.
6. Return the starter handle to the starting position after each pull.
7. Repeat steps as necessary.
8. Once the engine has started, place the throttle in the FAST position before operating
the machine.
Warning
Rapid retraction of the starter rope (kickback) will push your hand and arm toward the engine
faster than you can release. Pay special attention to avoid serious injuries.
5.4. Start up
After the engine warms up, pull the throttle lever to accelerate the engine speed.
The wheelbarrow has steering levers on the handlebars and this makes steering very easy.
To turn right or left, simply operate the corresponding right or left steering lever.
The steering sensitivity increases in proportion to the speed of the machine and, with the
machine empty, a light pressure on the lever is enough to turn. While when the machine is
loaded, more pressure is required.
The forklift has a maximum capacity of 500 kg. However, it is advisable to evaluate the load
and adjust it according to the terrain on which the machine will be used.
Therefore, it is advisable to travel these sections in low gears and with extreme caution. In
such situations, the machine must be kept in low gear throughout the entire stretch.
Avoid sharp turns and frequent changes of direction while driving on the road, especially on
rough and hard terrain full of sharp and uneven spots with a high degree of friction.
Remember to be careful when working in adverse weather conditions (ice, heavy rain and
snow) or on types of terrain that may destabilize the truck.
When the clutch control lever is released, the machine will stop and brake automatically.
If the machine is stopped on a steep slope, a wedge should be placed against one of the
tracks.
5.5. Slow motion
Place the throttle control lever in the SLOW position to reduce stress on the engine when no
work is being performed. Reducing engine speed will help extend engine life, as well as
conserve fuel and reduce noise levels.
