Shovel speed control valve and hopper speed control valve
The valves have been set at the factory, so adjustment is not necessary under normal
circumstances.
If necessary, turn the left valve counterclockwise to increase the blade lifting speed and
clockwise to decrease the speed.
Turn the right valve counterclockwise to increase the hopper drop speed and clockwise to
decrease the speed.
Engine on/off switch
The engine switch has two positions.
- OFF: The engine does not start or run.
- ON: The engine will start and run.
Recoil starter handle
The recoil starter handle is used to start the engine.
fuel shut-off valve
The fuel shutoff has two positions:
- Closed ( ) - Use this position to repair, transport or store the unit.
- Open ( ) - Use this position to operate the unit.
throttle control
The throttle control regulates engine speed and moves between fast and slow
choke control
The choke control is used to shut off air emission and enrich the fuel mixture, helping to start
the engine. The choke control slides between positions:
- Closed choke
- Open choke .
Note: Never use the choke to stop the engine.
Operator support
Pull the ring to remove the pin as shown in step 1 of the picture and then rotate the bracket to
its horizontal position to level it as in step 2.
To retract the bracket, lift it until the rotation pin returns to its position. This way the plate can
be secured in a vertical position.
