PRECAUTIONS
Temperature
Be sure the temperature inside the vehicle is between +60°C
(+140°F) and –10°C (+14°F) before turning your unit on.
Maintenance
If you have problems, do not attempt to repair the unit yourself.
Return it to your Alpine dealer or the nearest Alpine Service
Station for servicing.
On Handling HDD
Follow these instructions while using the HDD. Failure to heed
them can result in product failure or damage. Do not disassemble
or modify the unit.
Do not subject the unit to strong vibration or moisture. The HDD
is very delicate and must never be dropped.
Avoid using the unit in a location subject to:
• High temperature, such as in a car on a hot day with all its
windows up or directly in front of a car’s heater vent.
• Direct sunlight
• Water and high humidity and excessive dust
• High magnetic field or static electricity
Moisture Condensation
In a very cold car, condensation may form inside the unit as the
temperature increases.
This could lead to a product malfunction.
If this happens, remove the HDD for about 1 hour to give any
internal moisture time to evaporate.

Alpine accepts no responsibility for lost data, etc., even if
data, etc., is lost while using this product.
