Using AlienFX function
Customize advanced features for your monitor using AlienFX in the Alienware Command Center (AWCC) application.
NOTE: If you have an Alienware Gaming desktop or laptop, you can directly access the AWCC application.
NOTE: For more information, see Alienware Command Center Online Help.
Prerequisites
Before installing the AWCC application on a non-Alienware system:
• Ensure that the operating system of your computer is Windows 10 R3 or later.
• Ensure your Internet connection is active.
• If you want to adjust the lighting effects, make sure to connect the Alienware monitor and the computer with the supplied USB
Type-A to Type-B 5Gbps cable.
Installing AWCC through Windows update
1. When the monitor is first connected to a system where the AWCC application is not installed, the application will be downloaded
and installed on the system automatically. The installation takes few minutes to complete.
NOTE: This process requires Internet connection.
2. Navigate to the program folder to ensure that the installation is successful. Alternatively, you can find the AWCC application in
the Start menu.
3. Connect your monitor to the system.
4. Restart the computer.
5. Launch the AWCC application.
NOTE: If you don’t see the monitor appearing on the AWCC Dashboard screen, go to OS Settings windows, click on Apps then
click on Installed apps, search for the Alienware Command Center Package Manager to add the packages.
6. If the driver update is not reflecting in your computer, install AWCC from the Dell Support website.
Installing AWCC from the Dell Support website
1. Visit Dell support site at Drivers at Dell Support Site, enter AW2725Q in the search box to find the product support page.
2. Go to Drivers & Downloads. Download the latest version of the Alienware Command Center application.
3. Navigate to the folder in which you saved the downloaded setup files.
4. Double-click the downloaded setup file and follow the on-screen instructions to complete the installation.
NOTE: For a better experience, always update to the latest version of the AWCC application.
