19.5.2 History
Once configuring the RMON history group, the switches will periodically collect and
temporarily store the network statistics for processing ease, providing historical data on
network segment flow, error packets, broadcast packets, bandwidth utilization, and other
statistics. Historical data management can be used to set up devices in terms of historical
data collection including periodical collection and maintenance of the data of specified
ports.
