NOTE:
The Rattler-C V² cannot be attached to scopes that include focus rings on the
housing of the objective lens.
NOTE:
The adapter must fit with the diameter of the day scope front lens. There
are various optional day scope front adapters available for a wide range of
objective lens diameters.
Before installing the front adapter onto the day scope, it is recommended to
degrease the scope lens body and the inside surface of the adapter.
Install the Front Q-R adapter to the Rattler-C V² as follows (refer to Figure 2-5):
1. Rotate the adapter (A) clockwise until it tightened securely.
2. Use the wrench in the package to tighten the fixing ring (B) until the adapter
is fixed on the device.
NOTE:
The thread size is M52 × 0.75 mm. Purchase the adapter recommended by the
manufacturer.
NOTE:
Different models of front adapters may have different designs. Refer to the
user manual for your adapter for correct installation.
Install the clip-on on the lens of a day scope as follows (refer to Figure 2-6):
1. Turn the lever (A) of adapter (B) backwards to loosen the adapter clamping
device.
2. Slide the Rattler-C V² with the adapter onto the lens of the day scope (C) as
far as it goes.
