1.1 Introduction
PCE-3029/4129 stands out as a PICMG 1.3 half-size system host board, designed
with Intel® H110 (PCE-3029) or C236 (PCE-4129) PCH for industrial applications.
Built on 14nm manufacturing technology, it accommodates LGA1151 socket Intel®
Xeon or Core™ i7/i5/i3, Pentium®, and Celeron® processors, seamlessly integrating
memory and graphic controllers while supporting DDR4 2133 SDRAM up to 32 GB.
The advanced computing technology of PCE-3029/4129 positions it as the optimal
solution for high-performance compact system requirements.
PCE-3029/4129 boasts impressive graphic capabilities through its integrated Intel®
HD Graphics core, delivering robust 2D/3D processing power without the need for an
additional graphic card. This not only saves costs but also reduces power consump-
tion and simplifies thermal integration efforts. Furthermore, the board supports vari-
ous display interfaces, enhancing flexibility for system integrators.
The multi expansion interfaces of PCE-3029/4129 support Advantech PCE-3BXX
and 4BXX backplanes, offering both PCI and PCIe lanes to cater to diverse applica-
tions such as manufacturing automation, factory automation, automatic optical
inspection, and medical equipment.
Additionally, PCE-3029/4129 introduces new SATA Gen3 (600MB/sec) ports to meet
the demands of high-data applications like storage and data management centers.
The SATA ports on PCE-4129 support software RAID 0, 1, 5, 10, providing a cost-
effective and reliable data solution. USB 3.0 ports, operating at 5 Gbps high data
rates, and RS-232, RS-422, RS-485, and parallel ports cater to industrial control
applications. With its flexible I/O interfaces, PCE-3029/4129 is as an outstanding

and PCH support 4 links of PCI Express generation 3.0 to PICMG1.3 back-
planes.
