2.1 Chassis Grounding
MIC-1816 provides EMI protection and a stable grounding base with an easy-to-con-
nect chassis grounding point, as shown in Figure 2.1.

2.2 Power Supply
Connect the MIC-1816 to a 10~36 V
DC
power source, such as a power adapter.
2.3 Storage Installation
Follow the instructions below to install a solid state drive. Please follow these steps
carefully. (Note: The system is not compatible with a 12 V Storage. Only install Stor-
age with a power input of less than 12 V.)
1. Undo the 4 x affixing screws and remove the rear cover.
2. Remove the 4 x Storage screws in the rear cover.
3. Connect the SATA/power cable.
4. Replace the rear cover and secure in place with 4 x screws.
Note! MIC-1816 features only one SATA slot.
