4.1 Touch Controller Characteristics
The Advantech ETM-RES05C touch control board is a premium combo board. This
touch panel controller provides optimal performance of your analog resistive touch
panels for 4-wire models. It communicates with the PC system directly through USB
and RS-232 connectors. The design excels in sensitivity, accuracy, and user-friendly
operation. The touch panel driver emulates the left and right button functions of a
mouse.
The ETM-RES05C utilizes technology from the eGalax_eMPIA Technology control
board which meets the latest Restriction of Hazardous Substances (RoHS) Directive.
This touch panel controller provides optimal performance of your analog resistive
touch panels for 4-wire models. It communicates with the PC system directly through
USB and RS232 connectors. The design excels in sensitivity, accuracy, and user-
friendly operation. The touch panel driver emulates the left and right button functions
of a mouse and supports various operating systems as shown in the table below.
