2.1 Mounting: DIN rail
The ADAM-6300 module can be secured to a cabinet by using DIN rails. First, fix the
ADAM-6300 module to the DIN rail adapter and then secure it on the DIN rail. When
mounting the module on the rail, you should consider using end brackets at each end
of the rail in order to prevent the module from sliding.

2.2 Power Supply Wiring
The ADAM-6300 series is designed for a standard industrial unregulated 24 VDC
power supply. For further applications, it can also accept +10 to 30 VDC.
Power supply ripple must be limited to 200 mV peak-to-peak, and the immediate rip-
ple voltage should be maintained between +10 and 30 VDC. Screw terminals +Vs
and GND are for wiring the power supply.
We advise using the following standard colors (which are also indicated on the mod-
ules) for the power lines: +Vs (R) Red GND (B) Black.
