USR STATUS INDICATORS
The front and rear panels of each ADDERView Matrix USR feature an indicator capable
of producing numerous color and ash patterns to provide a useful guide to operation.
The dual indicators provide the same color and ash patterns.
Indicator color and ash patterns
The front and rear panel indicators use varying color and ashing patterns to signal key
status:
• Off No power.
• Green All services present as compared to the conguration required.
• Amber Running but video, USB or network link missing.
• Red Booting before processor loaded or failed.
• Red rapid ash A critical error has been detected that is preventing the device from
being used (a malfunction message will also be displayed within the
OSD.)
• Blue Factory reset mode active.
• Red/green ash Booting into factory recovery mode.
• Green/blue ash Upgrade mode active.
• Fast green ash Identify mode active.
Network specic indicators
Note: The behavior of the USR network indicators are the same as the CAM, however, the colors
are swapped:
• Green Off: No Link On: Link established
• Orange Off; No Link Flashing: Network activity On: Quiescent link
Operation
In operation, most ADDERView Matrix installations require no intervention once
congured. The CAMs and USRs take care of all connection control behind the scenes so
that you can continue to work unhindered.
CAM STATUS INDICATORS
The two top panel indicators on the CAM provide a useful guide to operation:
Main status indicators
• Off No power
• Green Operating - Video, USB and network link all present
• Orange Operating - But video, USB and/or network link missing.
• Red (momentarily) Unit is booting up, or
(consistently) Unit has failed, try rebooting.
• Red/green ashing Unit is in backup mode.
• Blue Factory reset has been activated.
• Red/blue ashing Unit is in upgrade mode.
• Fast green ash Unit is in identify mode.
Network specic indicators
• Orange Off: No link On: Link established
• Green Off: No link Flashing: Network activity On: Quiescent link
