CONNECTING WITH A SERVER
The ARDx™ Viewer application allows you to remotely connect with multiple server
systems via ARDx™ devices.
To make a remote server connection
1 Run the ARDx™ Viewer to view the Connect page. All registered server entries will
be displayed within the Connect area:
2 Click the Connect button of the required server to begin a connection.
3 If login details are requested, enter a valid password and click OK.
An Adder Remote Desktop window will be opened.
Operation
Audio off/on - indicates the current status of audio
for the connection.
Encryption off/on - indicates the current status of
encryption for the connection.
Authentication off/on - indicates the current status
of encryption for the connection.
Private mode enabled for the connection.
Shared mode enabled for the connection.
View only mode enabled for the connection.
Exclusive mode enabled for the connection.
Connection status icons
A row of status icons are displayed in the top left corner of each server connection.
Click on an icon to change its status:
Server connection favorites lter
You can designate any server
connection as a favorite simply
by clicking the star outline icon
on its entry.
Once one or more are so
designated, a ‘Favorites’ button
will appear next to the ‘All’
button. Click the Favorites
button to display only the server
connection which are ‘starred’.
Click the ‘All’ button to view all
server connections.
