3.5.3 Wireless keypad
To register the keypad in the Smartvest Pro alarm panel, please proceed as follows:
Preparatory steps
1. You need the Smartvest Pro iOS / Android app.
2. You must keep the keypad to hand.
3. Please ensure that the keypad and the Smartvest Pro alarm panel are in close proximity to each
other.
Integration into the alarm system
1. Register a component via the "Settings" menu in the app under the menu item "Manage
components" > "Add new component".
2. Select the relevant component from the list.
3. Assign a name for each component (this is used for notications, for example) and assign a
room.
4. You will then be asked to enter a 4-digit PIN code for your keypad.
5. Press the "Next" button in the app and supply the keypad with power or activate the battery
during the app countdown. There are two ways to do this.
• If the keypad is new, there is a transparent plastic tape at the side. Pull this out of the
keypad during the app countdown to complete the set-up process.
• If you have already removed the plastic tape, please remove the battery, wait at least
5 seconds and reinsert it again.
6. The successful addition of a component is conrmed in the app and you can now manage and
use the added component in the settings.
