Please have your Wi-Fi access data ready. Some routers oer the option of conveniently
scanning the factory access data from a QR code with the camera of your smartphone;
please check your router, you may also nd the QR code in the web interface of your
router.
The Smartvest Pro alarm panel supports 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi networks.
The alarm panel uses Bluetooth to connect to your smartphone and the access data for
the home network is shared in this way. Please ensure that the alarm panel and
smartphone are in close proximity and that Bluetooth permissions, Bluetooth, location
permissions, location and local network search are activated.
Activate the power supply to the alarm panel by pressing the switch on the back of the
alarm panel. This establishes the power supply for the alarm panel via the integrated
battery. Deactivate the alarm system when installing a mobile communication module to
prevent damage to the mobile communication module and the system.
You can also switch o the alarm system when installing tamper-protected detectors to
prevent tamper alarms.
Please note: Avoid tamper alarms during start-up by only using the mounting plate for
nal installation on the wall and not pressing and releasing the tamper alarm button.
When you insert the mounting plate on the back of the alarm panel, the tamper alarm
is activated immediately and automatically and an alarm sounds when you remove the
mounting plate again. The mounting plate presses in the button for the tamper alarm
and releasing this button triggers the alarm. To end the alarm, switch o the alarm panel
during start-up using the switch on the back. Tamper alarms are also available for
magnetic contacts, vibration detectors and motion detectors; with these components,
the tamper alarm is triggered when the battery compartment cover is removed. With the
external siren, the tamper alarm is designed so that tearing the siren o the wall already
triggers the alarm.
Tip: As long as you could trigger the tamper alarm during start-up of the detectors, please
use the "Maintenance Mode" in the app. The maintenance mode deactivates itself aer
5 minutes. Alternatively, you can, for example, switch o the alarm panel while you are
tting the detectors at their intended installation location by pressing the switch on the
back, see also item 1.1.
