To ensure the first cup of coffee from your coffee maker tastes
excellent, follow these steps to rinse and prepare the machine:
1.Remove the Plug at the Bottom of the Tank:
Locate and remove the plug at the bottom of the water tank to
ensure it is ready for rinsing.
2.Pour Water into the Water Tank:
Fill the water tank with water, ensuring the water level does not
exceed the "MAX" mark. Then, close the tank cover.
Note: The appliance comes with a removable water tank for
easy cleaning. You can fill this tank with water first and then
place it back into the appliance.
3.Set Brewing Filter:
Place the brewing filter into the metal funnel without adding any
coffee.
4.Place an Espresso Cup on the Drip Plate:
Position an espresso cup or your own jug/coffee cup on the
drip plate.
Ensure the knob is in the horizontal (off) position.
5.Connect to Power Source:
Plug the appliance into a power source and press the power
button. The power indicator will light up, and the single/dou-
ble-cup/steam indicator will start flashing.
6.Pre-Heating:
The appliance will begin heating up. When the single/dou-
ble-cup/steam indicator becomes solid, the pre-heating process
is complete.
Press the double-cup button and wait for the water to flow out.
7.Finish Rinsing:
Once the appliance stops pumping water automatically, pour
out the water from the container and clean them thoroughly.
The coffee maker is now ready for brewing.
