Background Tab
This option allows you to change the background colour or add an image.
Appearance
• In the Display Properties dialog box, open the Appearance tab.

This dialog box allows you to customize the display colour scheme and font size.
Backlight
The backlight is activated for a configurable amount of time when the 8515 is in use (key press, scanner trigger
or data received from the host).
The Display Properties dialog box in the Control Panel allows you to specify the intensity of the backlight
along with how long the display will maintain the specified intensity.
• In the Display Properties dialog box, open the Backlight tab.
NOTE Keep in mind that this option may be restricted to supervisory use only.
