Paraline Series Powered Line
Array Enclosures
Paraline is a premium series of line array speakers with
integrated power ampliers. Easy to set up and simple
to use, Paraline offers essential features and high out-
put in compact cabinets.
Conguration
The PSA26 and PSA28 can be used in ground stack
and own congurations. When own, up to twelve en-
closures can be connected in a vertical array using the
3-point rigging hardware attached to each box.
Control Panel
Please note that all controls are local and must be adjusted
on each connected enclosure. Controls do not affect the
signal at the Main Out jack.
1. Main In / Main Out Jacks
The input and output jacks are connected in parallel. To
link multiple cabinets, start by connecting a line-level
signal to the Main In jack of the first enclosure. Then,
connect the Main Out to the Main In of the next cabinet
in the array, repeating until every enclosure has an input
signal. Enclosures must be powered on for audio to pass
from the Main Out jack.
2. Gain Control
This sets the output level of the enclosure so you can bal-
ance volume across the entire system. The light above the
Gain knob will illuminate green to indicate signal activity,
orange to indicate limiting, and red to indicate clipping.
The activity and clipping indicators monitor the input signal
before the Gain control, and the limiter is post-gain. Levels
should be optimally set so that, with the Gain control at
12:00, the LED is primarily green during use and the red
clipping indicator does not illuminate.
3. w/SUB Switch
This activates a 100 Hz high-pass lter that should be
enabled when using the enclosure with a subwoofer. We
recommend pairing with a Paraline subwoofer, as models
within the series are optimized and phase-aligned to work
together, but any subwoofer can be used. The switch ring
will illuminate when active.
4. HF Boost Switch
This activates a 2 dB boost at 8 kHz to increase high-end
clarity when projecting to the back of the audience area.
The switch ring will illuminate when active.
5. Neareld Switch
This reduces the output level of the horn. We recommend activating this switch on enclosures in the curved seg-
ment of a vertical array of four or more speakers, which are generally aimed at those sections of the audience sit-
ting closest to the stage. The switch ring will illuminate when active.
