04. FIXING THE PHONE IN THE GRIP
• To place the phone in the cradle, press the buon (FIG.A - 6), the arms spread
for 3 seconds and then automacally close.
• A sensor can be used (FIG.A - 2) which, when it detects an object at a distance
of 5-20 cm, will open the arms for 3 seconds and then automacally close
them.
• Wireless charging will start automacally if the smartphone has a wireless
charging funcon.
• For wired charging, insert the appropriate magnec p into the phone’s char-
ging port (supplied, type C, type micro and type lighng), once the phone is
placed in the grip it will automacally start charging.
• To remove the smartphone from the cradle, press the buon that extends the
arms on the front of the device (FIG.A - 6).
NOTE: The grip is equipped with a baery that allows the phone to be pulled out
when unplugged.
NOTE: The object sensor (FIG.A - 2) works when the USB cable is connected.
05. CHARGING PROBLEMS
If the charger charges too slowly, stops charging or the grip overheats, the following
problems may be caused:
a. The phone case is too thick.
b. The built-in inducon coil does not make contact with the coil on the phone.
c. There is a piece of metal between the coil of the phone and the coil of the
grip.
d. The smartphone does not support wireless charging.
e. The charging cable does not t in the grip or is incorrectly ed.
f. Magnec p for wired charging does not make contact with the magnec
connecon (FIG.A - 5)
06. PRECAUTIONS
a. Keep the grip away from water and other liquids.
b. If you need to clean the grip, make sure it is not connected to the power
supply.
c. The temperature threshold of the grip is -40°C to 75°C
d. Damage caused by not following these instrucons will void the warranty.
e. For safety reasons, it is prohibited to make changes or modicaons to the
product.
f. Check the grip regularly for damage. If these are found, contact an authorised
service centre.
g. Do not spill liquids on the product, there is a risk of permanent damage to the
equipment and there is a high risk of causing a re.
h. The grip should be out of the reach of children.
i. If you feel that the grip is overheang, unplug it from the power supply and
contact an authorised service centre.
j. Do not connect the grip to power sources with a higher voltage than recom-
mended by the manufacturer (especially directly to a 220/230 V socket). Fa-
ilure to do so may result in damage or, in extreme cases, the grip catching re.
