4. Check that the appliance and the power cord are not damaged.
5. Install the appliance in a dry and well-ventilated place.
6. Protect the appliance from direct sunlight.
7. The doors must open completely and without hindrance.
8. Install the appliance on a level, dry and solid floor. Check the correct installation with
a bubble level.
9. Connect the appliance to the mains properly.
10. The nameplate is inside the appliance or at the back.
3.1 Ventilation requirements
Please observe the additional front and lateral space requirement of the open door(s)
relevant to the door opening angle of your appliance.
The following minimum distances are recommended by the manufacturer to ensure optimum
efficiency of the appliance:
Back ↔ wall
min. 100 mm
Right / left ↔ any piece of furniture / wall
min. 100 mm
Free space above
min. 300 mm
These minimum distances may be less, but to do so can increase the power consumption
of the appliance.
