6. TROUBLESHOOTING

6.1. PROBLEMS WITH THE APPLIANCE
PROBLEM POSSIBLE CAUSE SOLUTION
The appliance will not start. The power cable is not properly
inserted in the earthed socket.
Insert the power cable properly into the
earthed socket.
There is no voltage on the earthed
socket.
Check that the earthed socket is working.
A fuse has tripped or broken. Check fuses and replace fuses if necessary.
The door is not closed properly. Close the door properly and press the
start/pause button.
The appliance is overloaded. Put less laundry in the appliance at the
same time.
There's clothing trapped inside the
appliance.
Remove the laundry from the appliance
and put the laundry in again.
The door doesn't open. The laundry programme is not yet
complete.
Door protection is enabled.
Ensure the laundry programme is complete.
Wait until the drum is completely stationary.
Sometimes it takes time until the door
protection switches off.
Unplug the power cable from the earthed
socket and plug the power cable back into
the earthed socket.
The door does not close properly. There was laundry between the
door.
Remove laundry that is trapped by the
door. Push the laundry well into the drum.
The washing machine is
overloaded.
Put less laundry in the machine and try to
close the door again.
