4.2.6 Using the cooking timer
No other functions of the appliance can be used while using the cooking timer.
To set the cooking timer:
1. Press the TIMER button.
The display shows 00:00.
2. Set the desired time with the selector dial.
3. Press the CONFIRM/START/+30S button to conrm the set time.
The cooking timer starts counting down.
4. To stop the cooking timer, press the STOP/CLEAR button.
4.2.7 Using the child safety lock
The child lock prevents children from accidentally turning on the microwave oven.
To use the child safety lock:
1. To activate the child safety lock:
• In standby mode, press and hold the STOP/CLEAR button for three seconds.
A tone can be heard and the display shows the child lock icon.
2. To turn off the child safety lock:
• Press and hold the STOP/CLEAR button for three seconds.
A tone can be heard and the child lock icon is off.

4.2.8 Seeing the current time during preparation
• During preparation, press the CLOCK button. The screen displays the current time for three seconds.
To see the current time during preparation, the clock must be set. See Setting the current time.
4.2.9 See information about the preparation method
While using the microwave function, grilling, combi preparation or convection preparation, information about the
preparation method can be displayed.
To see information about the preparation method:
1. During microwave cooking, press the POWER button.
The screen displays the microwave power for three seconds.
2. During grilling or combi cooking, press the COMBI button.
The display shows the preparation method for three seconds.
3. During convection preparation, press the Convection button.
The display shows the temperature for three seconds.
