f) Device repair or maintenance should be carried out by qualified persons, only using original spare
parts. This will ensure safe use.
g) To ensure the operational integrity of the device, do not remove factory-fitted guards and do not
loosen any screws.
h) When transporting and handling the device between the warehouse and the destination, observe the
occupational health and safety principles for manual transport operations which apply in the country
where the device will be used.
i) Avoid situations where the device stops working during use due to excessive loading. This may result
in overheating of the drive elements and damage to the device.
j) Do not touch articulated parts or accessories unless the device has been disconnected from the power
source.
k) Do not move, adjust or rotate the device in the course of work.
l) Do not leave this appliance unattended while it is in use.
m) Clean the device regularly to prevent stubborn grime from accumulating.
n) Do not cover the air intake and outlet.
o) The device is not a toy. Cleaning and maintenance may not be carried out by children without
supervision by an adult person.
p) It is forbidden to interfere with the structure of the device in order to change its parameters or
construction.
q) Keep the device away from sources of fire and heat.
r) Do not overload the device.
s) Do not cover the ventilation openings!
t) Before starting the engine, open the outlet flap and place a container beneath to avoid a clog.
u) Check if the loading hopper is free from any obstacles and stones before every each use.
v) Do not push load forward in the hopper too far using only hands! Risk of hand injury.
w) Regularly conduct periodical surveys in the service.
x) Examine if the device is properly mounted (e.g. check for loose screws) and connected to the power
supply before starting operation.
y) The device should be used on an even and stable surface. It might be fixed to, if necessary. Working
place should secure the device against water and adverse weather conditions and ensure free access
to the loading hopper and outlet.
z) It is recommended to start the device with no load in the hopper first for several minutes to check if it
is working properly. If the device emits disturbing noises or impacts, turn it off and disconnect from
the power supply. Do not use it until faults are repaired.
aa) For safer operation, turn the device off after all loading is milled.
bb) Do not look inside the outlet after the device is started. Risk of face injury.
ATTENTION! Despite the safe design of the device and its protective features, and despite the use
of additional elements protecting the operator, there is still a slight risk of accident or injury when
using the device. Stay alert and use common sense when using the device.
3. Use guidelines
The machine is designed for the shredding of various types of raw materials (e.g. wooden slats/blocks,
hay/dried grass, coconut shells, dried maize stalks, waste paper) for the production of pellets or animal feed,
among others.
The user is liable for any damage resulting from unintended use of the device.
