ASSEMBLING THE MULCHING PLUG (Figure 4)
• Open the rear cover.
• Hold the mulching plug by the handle and attach it to the mower body by pushing it as far as it will go.
INSTALLATION OF UPPER HANDLE (Figure 2)
• Align the hole in the upper handle with the hole in the lower handle and insert the bolt through the quick release handle holder
and quick-set wrench.
• Rotate the quick-set wrench clockwise to the appropriate position.
• Fold the quick-set wrench.
NOTE: Hold the upper handle firmly so that it does not drop.

• Attach the holder to the handle. Position the cord as shown in the figure.
NOTE: When installing the lower handle holder, the holder should be as close as possible to the end of the lower handle. This will
help prevent the control cable from being pinched or caught when the handle is folded.
