The battery pack is not fully charged out of the carton. Read the instructions below before using the
battery pack and charger. Follow the correct charging procedures.
READ ALL INSTRUCTIONS
• DO NOT incinerate the battery pack even if it is severely damaged or is completely worn out. The
battery pack can explode in a re. Toxic fumes and materials are created when battery packs are
burned.
• DO NOT charge or use the battery near ammable or combustible areas.
• If battery liquid comes into contact with the skin, immediately wash area with mild soap and water.
If battery liquid gets into the eye, rinse water over the open eye for 15 minutes or until irritation
ceases. If medical attention is needed, the battery electrolyte for lithium-ion batteries is composed
of a mixture of liquid organic carbonates and lithium salts.
• Contents of opened battery cells may cause respiratory irritation. If symptoms persist, seek
medical attention.
WARNING: Burn hazard. Battery liquid may be ammable if exposed to spark or ame.
• Charge the battery packs only in Westinghouse chargers.
• DO NOT splash or immerse in water or other liquids. This may cause premature cell failure.
• Do not store or use the tool and battery pack in locations where the temperature may reach or
exceed 105°F (40˚C) (such as outside sheds or metal buildings in summer).
WARNING: Never open the battery pack for any reason. If the battery pack casing is cracked
or damaged, do not insert it into the charger. Avoid crushing, dropping, or damaging the battery
pack. Do not use a battery pack or charger that has been dropped, run over, or otherwise damaged.

recycling procedures.
WARNING: Fire hazard. Do not store or carry the battery where metal objects can contact
exposed battery terminals. Transporting batteries can possibly cause res if the battery terminals
inadvertently come in contact with conductive materials. The US Department of Transportation
Hazardous Material Regulations (HMR) prohibits transporting batteries in commerce or on airplanes
(i.e., packed in suitcases and carry on luggage) UNLESS they are properly protected from short
circuits. Be sure that the battery terminals are protected and insulated from materials that may
contact them and cause a short circuit when transporting individual batteries. NOTE: Lithium-Ion
batteries should not be put in checked baggage.
b. The extension cord is properly wired and in good electrical condition;
c. The wire size is large enough for AC ampere rating of charger as specied below:
Cord Length (ft) 25’ 50’ 100’
Cord Size (AWG) 16 16 16
