SAFETY DEFINITIONS
The words DANGER, WARNING, CAUTION, and NOTICE are used
throughout this manual to highlight important information. Be sure
that the meanings of this safety information is known to all who
operate, perform maintenance on, or are near the tool.
This safety alert symbol appears with most safety statements.
It means attention, become alert, your safety
is involved! Please read and abide by the
message that follows the safety alerts symbol.
DANGER
Indicates a hazard-
ous situation which, if not avoided, will re-
sult in death or serious injury.
WARNING
Indicates a hazardous situation
which, if not avoided, could result in death or serious injury.
CAUTION
Indicates a hazardous situation
which, if not avoided, could result in minor or moderate in-
jury.
NOTICE
Indicates a situation which can cause dam-
age to the generator, personal property, and/or the environ-
ment, or cause the equipment to operate improperly.
NOTE: Indicates a procedure, practice or condition that
should be followed for the generator to function in the man-
ner intended.

as the information on the product labeling.

Safety Alert Symbol. Indicates a potential personal
injury hazard.

before using this product.
WARNING! Electrical shock hazard.
Wet Conditions Alert. Do not expose plug to water
or rain.

DESCRIPTION
DANGER! Cutting/dismemberment hazard. Keep
feet away from the rotating paddle.
DANGER! Cutting/dismemberment hazard. Keep
Hands away from the rotating paddle. Do not use
hands to unclog rotor housing. Stop motor before
removing debris.
Keep the flexible power supply cord away from
the rotating paddle.
Wear safety gloves during use to protect hands.
Wear safety footwear at all times to provide
protection against objects that may accidentally
fall on feet.
Keep bystanders and children a safe distance (at
least 11 yd/10 m) away from the work area.
CAUTION! Beware of stones and other foreign
objects that could be thrown from the product.
Always keep the power cable away from heat
sources, oils, or sharp edges. Immediately remove
plug from the mains if the cable is damaged,
frayed, or entangled.
Wear hearing and eye protection. Always wear
eye protection with side shields marked to comply
with ANSI Z87.1.
WARNING! Turn the machine OFF and discon-
nect it from the power supply before inspecting,
cleaning, changing accessories, or any other
maintenance task.
DOUBLE INSULATED. Grounding not required.
When servicing, use only identical replacment
parts.
The rotating part will continuously run for several
seconds after you turn off the machine.
