Spray pattern and air regulation
The spray pattern can be optimally adjusted to suit the object being sprayed using the air regulator. The illustration
shows the inuence of the regulator on the spray pattern. Other nozzle sizes can be used to obtain larger or
smaller spray patterns.

Round-jet method
Open air regulation.
AWR 5000: The size of the air cap
should match with the nozzle size.

Spray pattern
Marking on union nut
By turning the union nut the spray pattern can
be adjusted to suit the object being sprayed.
The illustration shows the inuence of the
turning on the spray pattern.
1. Set the union nut as far as the stop.
2. Open maximum 1/4 turn. The atomizing
is good in this area.
The union nut should not protrude
beyond the nozzle body.
Always fully open the air regulation.
