Here you can check the following parameterized values of the encoder:
• Raw position value
• Scaled position value
• Offset
• Velocity value
• Code sequence (Direction of rotation)
• Scaling enabled (Yes/no)
• Measuring units per revolution (MUPR)
• Total measuring range (TMR)
• Gear ratio
• Speed calculation source
• Integration time
• Speed factor
5.3.3 Firmware Update

The current firmware version of the encoder is displayed. If a new firmware version is
available, you can update the encoder's firmware here.
• Please take care that you do not execute the firmware update
while a configured connection to a PLC exists.
• Do not cut off the power supply or disconnect the network cable
while performing a firmware update.
To update the firmware of the encoder, choose the correct .bin file by clicking the
“Browse…”-Button (see Figure 5.6: Firmware update - choose file).
