Connecting the power
What you will need:
• AC Power adapter (included)
• Surge protector, power strip or power outlet
NOTE: A surge protector is recommended to prevent any damage to the Media-Jukebox MKII
caused by a power surge.
1. Co
nnect the proper end to the AC input on the Media-Jukebox MK II
2. Connect the other end to a surge protector, power strip or power outlet
Connecting to an External A/V System for Playback
There are three available connection options:
• Audio and video together using the A/V output
• Audio only, using the Digital Coaxial output
• Video only, using the Component (RGB) output
You will first need to
connect the AC adaptor to the input labeled AC on the Media-Jukebox MK-II
and the other end to an electrical outlet.
Audio and Video together using the A/V Output
What you will need:
• 1/8” to RCA A/V (red, white and yellow) patch cable (included)
• TV with RCA A/V inputs or TV and separate sound system with RCA A/V inputs
1. Connect the 1/8” end into the AV jack of the Media-Jukebox MKII.
2. The other end of this adaptor cable includes 3 RCA-style plugs. The red and white L/R pair are
for your audio connection to your TV AUDIO input or the AUDIO inputs on an amplifier or a mixer.
The yellow RCA plug is for VIDEO connection to a TV or other monitor device.
Below are two possible setup options with the AV patch cable:
