1. SPDIF OUTPUT
SPDIF/RAW: When using digital output to connect to
an amplifier with Dolby decoding, select this option.
SPDIF/PCM: When using a stereo amplifier to play
Dolby digital discs, select this mode.
2. DUAL MONO
Here you can choose between STEREO, L-MONO,
R-MONO, or MIX-MONO output modes. It is usually
recommended that you stay in STEREO mode for best
results.
3. COMPRESSION
This function is generally used when playing high
volume programs at night, in order not to disturb the
neighbor. This setting can dynamically lower the vol-
ume and still keep the original tone quality. This is the
range, measured in decibels (dB), between the loudest
and the quietest sound registers in a soundtrack. To
use this feature, DOWNMIX must be OFF.
