The fan continues to operate after
the cooktop has switched o:

Messages on the Downdraft
Code
1st LED
flashes
• Run-out function activated.
2 LEDs
flash
• The tower was not detected at the
requested position.
• Check nothing can prevent the movement
of the extraction tower.
• Press .
• Contact Viking.
3 LEDs
flash
• Safety switch in extraction tower constantly
activated.
• Press .
• Contact Viking.
• Use a screwdriver to turn the slot on the
drive shaft of the downdraft tower.
4 LEDs
flash
• Front extraction tower glass is missing.
• Front extraction tower glass has not been
put in place correctly.
• Press .
• Extraction tower detection switch faulty.
The downdraft tower does not
extract well. What can be the cause
of this problem?
• Check that the top glass of the extraction tower is
correctly positioned. The suction opening must be clear.
• Check the grease filter. Follow the cleaning indicator.
On average, the filter must be cleaned every two
weeks to ensure the extraction works correctly.
• Check the air supply in the house. As soon as the
downdraft tower is switched on, make sure that air is
supplied by opening the grates in the windows or by
opening a window.
• Check the duct for blockages or constrictions which
prevent proper extraction of the air.
