1. Configuration of Permission for Group
Description
Procedure
Step 1 Choose Privilege Manager > Group.
The Group page is displayed, as shown in Figure 8-1.

You can add, modify, and delete permission groups, and select available permissions to grant them to the
corresponding group.
Note
• Only the users with the Privilege Manage permission can access the Group and User pages.
The default permission groups are Administrators, Operator, and Media user, where the Administrators group
cannot be deleted. Their permissions are described as follows:
• Administrators: Privilege Manage, System Maintenance, Parameter Congure, Record Operaon, Video
Control, and Live Video
• Operator: System Maintenance, Parameter Congure, Record Operaon, Video Control, and Live Video
• Media user: Video Control and Live Video
