USB Type C MST Daisy Chain
With DisplayPort 1.4 Mul-Stream Transport (MST) support, you can daisy chain
up to three of the ViewSonic’s FHD (1920 x 1080) @100 Hz monitors from the USB
Type C ports without losing USB 3.2 speeds.

1. Connect one end of a DisplayPort/USB Type C cable to the USB Type C port of
your computer. Then connect the other end of the cable to the USB Type C In
port of the monitor.
NOTE: Make sure your computer’s graphics card supports DisplayPort MST.
2. Use a USB Type C cable to connect to the USB Type C Out port of the rst
monitor. Then connect the other end of the cable to the USB Type C In port of
the second monitor.
3. Repeat Step 2 as needed (see the following diagram for the maximum number of
monitors that can be connected).
NOTE:
• DisplayPort 1.4 MST must be turned on in the Setup Menu in the OSD
Menu to enable daisy chaining.
• If High Data Speed is selected, it will priorize high speed data
transfer and Ethernet.
• If High Resoluon is selected, MST can support 1920 x 1080 @100
Hz, but data transfer and Ethernet speed will be limited to USB 2.0
standards due to bandwidth limitaon.
• If the input source changes to HDMI, DisplayPort 1.4 MST will turn o
automacally.
