Users must read and perfectly understand the information provided by the
manufacturer before using the product. The consequences of incorrect
selection, misuse or poor maintenance of equipment could result in
damage, serious injury or death. This product must be used by trained
skilled persons only otherwise the user must be constantly supervised by
said persons, who must guarantee for their safety.
Dynamic ropes are treated with a durable yarn cover, before using the rope
together with any friction device, check that the combination works
effectively and securely to avoid any braking surprises.
INSPECTION
The equipment must be checked for possible damage before and after
each use. It must be ensured that the equipment is serviceable and fully
functional. The equipment must be discarded immediately if there is even
the slightest doubt as to its serviceability.
ACCESSORIES
All safety products and personal equipment that come into direct contact
with the rope (e.g. harnesses, carabiners, straps, descenders, and anchor
points) should match the diameter and type of rope used, as well as meet
the relevant standards and guidelines. The equipment must also be in
good condition, so that the rope cannot be damaged in any way. Beware of
carabiners and belay devices that are worn or have sharp edges!
