TROUBLE SHOOTING
Every awning undergoes are strictly debugged and tested before leaving the
factory to achieve the best condition. However, after a period of use, there may be
some abnormalities. Please handle them according to the following situations.
1. Weak winding of the awning scroll: Check if the torsion spring of the scroll is
releasing force. The upward force method of the scroll spring is to insert a 6mm
diameter screwdriver into the steel shaft hole at the end of the scroll, rotate it 10-13
times in the upward force direction indicated by the end cover, then insert the
safety pin, and install the scroll back into the support rod. (Figure E1)
Attention: The torsion of the reel may cause accidental injury. Please be sure to
use a safety pin and operate it under the premise of ensuring safety.
2. Unable to move the ratchet lever: The ratchet lever is stuck inside the ratchet
due to the torque of the spring. When turning the ratchet lever, you can gently pull
the reel and pull the strap before turning the ratchet lever. (Figure E2)

3. The fabric on both sides of the scroll is unevenly folded, and one side cannot be
tightened: check whether the awning fabric is damaged or deformed, and replace
the sunshade fabric. Alternatively, an appropriate thickness of adjustment sticker
can be applied to the edge of the rolled tube on the side that cannot be fully
tightened (to be provided separately), and the amount of the tarpaulin circle can be
fine tuned to ensure even tightening on both sides. (Figure E3).
