Center of gravity has both a horizontal component and a vertical component. The vertical center of
gravity (VCG) lies along a line parallel to the bottom edges of the fork pockets. Similarly, the horizontal
center of gravity (HCG) lies along a vertical line from the outer edges of the fork pockets.
