Step 9: Fasten the upper and lower portions of the handrails to the ladder assembly with

To connect the upper and lower handrails, first slide a 1”
tube sleeve (99-025-028) onto the end of each upper
handrail. Next, a) press the splice (44-625-002) into the
handrails; and b) tighten the connection by turning the

set screws. Then, slide the tube sleeves over the
junctions

Step 8: Install the toeboard at the top of the ladder; then set the ladder upright. The ladder is quite heavy and
requires at least 2 people to lift it.
