Use Instructions
Step 1: Grasp the handle with your right hand and the
adjustment stem with your left hand. Pull the stem
toward you to open the deheader.
Step 2: Position the blade against the inside of the rim
of the drum and engage the rim with the rim catch.
Rim channel
Step 3: Turn the adjustment knob clockwise until the
rim catch contacts the side of the drum (inside dashed
box). Do not over tighten the adjustment knob. The
deheader should be able to slide along the rim of the
drum.
Step 4: Firmly grasp the adjustment stem and press
the handle down to pierce the drum lid.
Turn adjustment knob until rim catch firmly contacts
Step 5
: Press the handle as far as it will rotate to allow
the blade to cut along its entire length.
Step 6: Raise the handle and slide the deheader
forward. Repeat steps 4-6 until the drum lid is
adequately or fully opened.
