J Cleaning and
Maintenance
• As explained under the safety
information, before starting the
cleaning and maintenance of the
appliance, be sure to unplug the
appliance from the outlet and wait
for it to cool.
• Avoid using abrasive cleaning agents.
• Do not immerse the appliance in
water. To avoid electric shock, do not
clean your appliance with water, use
a soft and damp cloth to clean your
appliance.
• In order for your appliance to work
properly and there is no drop in its
performance, clean the tilt-out air
inflow grill every 4 to 5 weeks. To
remove the grille, turn the tab on the
back cover counterclockwise, twist and
remove the cover. Clean the grill.
You can use a brush to clean the grill.
Make sure that it is absolutely dry
before placing the grill back in place.
Replace the grill cover by turning it
clockwise.
Storage
• Always unplug your appliance after
use. After the appliance has cooled
down, store it in a dry place away
from children.
• Never wrap the cord around the
appliance as this may damage the
cord and cause a fire.
Troubleshooting
• When you notice an abnormal situation
in your appliance, you may attempt
to troubleshoot according to the
following descriptions.
• If your appliance does not still operate
properly, contact Vestel Call Center or
your local Vestel Authorised Service.
• You may access the authorized service
providers list and contact information
from the web site.
• All authorized service information is
available in the Service Information
System created by the Ministry.
PROBLEM CAUSE SOLUTION
The appliance is
not operating.
The device is not plugged
in correctly. Plug it firmly.
No power at the outlet. Check the fuse or power switch.
The fan level button is in
the 0 position.
Set the fan level button to a position
other than 0.
The appliance is
overheated.
Turn off the appliance and let it cool
for a few minutes.
Air blower works
but does not
heat up.
Drying temperature switch
is at the lowest level.
Increase the level of drying
temperature switch.
