J Troubleshooting
When you notice an abnormal situation
in your appliance, you may attempt to
troubleshoot according to the descriptions
given in the table.
If your appliance does not still operate
properly, contact Vestel Call Center.
You may access the authorized service
providers list and contact information
from the web site.
PROBLEM CAUSE SOLUTION
The appliance is not
operating.
The device is not plugged in
correctly.
Plug it firmly.
No power at the outlet.
Check the fuse or power
switch.
The On/Off button is not pressed
upwards.
Press the button up to the On
position.
Does not boil water.
The On/Off button is not in the
ON position.
Move the button to the On
position.
Continuously boiling
water.
The lid of the Semaver or the
teapot is not properly seated.
Make sure the lid is closed or
the teapot sits onto its place.
It heats the water
late.
Excess scale has accumulated
on the bottom of the Semaver.
Clean the scale as
recommended in the Cleaning
and Maintenance section.
