NOTE: The result of auto cooking de-
pends on factors such as fluctuation of
voltage, the shape and size of food, your
personal preference as to the doneness
of certain foods and even how well you
happen to place food in the oven. If you
find the result at any rate not quite sat-
isfactory, please adjust the cooking time
a little bit accordingly.
J Cleaning and
Maintenance
• Before cleaning, switch off the appli-
ance and disconnect the plug from
the outlet.
• Do not immerse your device in water
or other liquids.
• Do not use any diluents or volatile
liquid to clean the appliance.
• Keep the inside of the oven clean.
When pieces splashing from food or
poured liquids stick to oven walls,
wipe with a damp cloth. You might
use soft detergents when oven is too
dirty. Avoid using spray or other harsh
cleaners. These substances may cause
stains or scratches on the door surface
or damage the surface.
• Clean outside the oven using a damp
cloth. In order to prevent damage to
moving parts in the oven, do not let
water enter from ventilation ducts.
• Wipe both sides of door and glass,
door seals and surrounding parts to
clean spilled liquids. Do not use abra-
sive cleaning substances.
• A steam cleaner is not be used.
• Do not let control panel get wet.
Clean with a damp, soft cloth. When
cleaning the control panel, leave oven
door open to prevent oven from ac-
cidentally turning on.
• If steam accumulates inside or around
oven door, wipe with a soft cloth. This
can occur when microwave oven is
operated in places with high humidity.
This is normal.
• Glass tray needs to be removed at
times for cleaning. Clean the tray in
warm, soapy water or in dishwasher.
• Clean rotating table ring and the
bottom of oven regularly in order to
prevent noise. You can wipe the bot-
tom of the oven with a soft detergent.
Rotary table ring can be washed in
soft, soapy water or in dishwasher.
When you remove rotating table ring,
make sure you replace it in the right
position.
• Put juice of one lemon and a glass of
water in a container suitable for use
in microwave to eliminate odor. Micro-
wave for 5 minutes. Wipe completely
and dry with a soft cloth.
• If the light bulb goes off, contact the
Vestel Communication Center for
replacement.
• The oven must be regularly cleaned
and food residue must be cleaned,
too. Failure to maintain the oven in
a clean condition could lead to de-
terioration of the surface that could
adversely affect the life of the appli-
ance and possibly result in a hazard-
ous situation.
