Some steps of the initial setup process
may dier or be skipped depending on
the selected options in each step.
1. Pair the remote control
A search for the remote control will be
performed when the TV is turned on
for the rst time. Follow the on-screen
instructions to pair your remote control
(depends on the model of the remote
control) with your TV. If the pairing
process is successful, a check mark will
be displayed on the screen.
If you don’t want to pair your remote
with the TV at this point, you can press
the Back/Return button to skip.
2. Welcome message and language
selection
“Welcome” message will be displayed
along with the language selection
options listed on the screen. Select
the desired language from the list and
press OK to continue.
3. Region/country
In the next step select your region and
country from the list and press OK to
continue.
4. Select TV mode
In the following step of the initial
setup, you can set the TV’s operation
mode either as Home or as Store. The
Store option will congure your TV’s
settings for the store environment. The
supported features are displayed on
the screen or a demo video is played.
This option is intended only for store
use. It is recommended to select Home
for home use. If you select the Store
option, you can set the store mode
type to your preference in the next
step.
Demo video: Demo video is played.
E-POP left/bottom: The supported
features of the TV are displayed on
the left or bottom of the screen.
None: There will be no video playback
and no display of features.
5. Network connection
If you did priorly connect your TV to
the Internet via Ethernet a message
will be displayed stating that you are
connected. You can continue with
wired connection by pressing OK. If
you want to use wireless connection
instead of wired connection, disconnect
the Ethernet cable. Available wireless
networks will be searched and listed.
Then proceed as explained in the
following.
If the Internet connection has not
been established via Ethernet before,
available wireless networks will be
searched and listed on the next screen.
Select your WLAN network from the
list and press OK to connect. Enter the
password using the virtual keyboard
if the network is password protected.
Select the Other network option from
the list, if the network that you want
to connect has hidden SSID (network
name).
