Highlight Set up prole lock and press
OK. Read the instructions on the next
screen and press OK to continue with
setting a PIN. If you have a Google
account PIN, you can use it or reset
your PIN if you have forgotten it. You
will be prompted to enter this PIN to
access the TV, change certain settings,
etc. Home Screen is displayed when
the PIN has been successfully created.
If you have not set up Google TV and
have set up basic TV instead, you can
also enable PIN protection for your
TV at this point for extra security.
Highlight Set up PIN and press OK.
Read the instructions on the next
screen and press OK to continue
with setting a PIN (device PIN). You
will be prompted to enter this PIN
to access the TV, change certain
settings, etc. If you forget your PIN,
you will need to factory reset your TV
to regain access. You can reset your
TV using the Factory reset option in
the Settings>System>About>Reset
menu. Highlight Not now and press
OK to skip this step. Home Screen is
displayed next. You can start Google
TV setup from the Home Screen.
Highlight Set up Google TV and press
OK to carry out Google TV setup.
On the Home Screen, you can press the
Exit button on the remote or highlight
the LiveTV / Live TVx app and press
OK to switch to Live TV mode and start
watching TV channels.
Note: Depending on the country
selected during initial setup or factory
reset, you may have the Live TV app
or the Live TVx app installed on the
Home Screen.

To enjoy the benets of your Google
TV, the Google TV installation should
be performed instead of the basic
TV installation during initial setup
or factory reset. You also need to
be signed in to your Google account
and your TV should be connected
to the Internet. To perform Google
TV installation after initial setup or
factory reset, you can scroll down,
highlight the Set up Google TV
option and press OK. Connect the
TV to a home network with a high-
speed Internet connection. Refer
to the Network and Internet and
Connecting to the Internet sections
for further information on how to
connect your TV to the Internet.
The Home menu is the centre of your
TV. From the Home menu, you can
start any application, switch to a TV
channel, watch a movie, or switch to
a connected device. Press the Home
button to display Home Screen. You
can also select the Google TV Home
option from the Inputs menu to switch
to Home Screen. To open the Inputs
menu, press the Source button on the
remote. Depending on your TV setup
and your country selection during
initial setup or factory reset, the Home
menu may contain dierent items.
